006: some nights


I have severe trouble with going to bed before three in the morning. Some nights I try hard to end my restlessness around midnight, or one.

Sometimes it does work. 
(I can’t remember the last time it did.)

But some nights you stay up until 2 a.m. talking to a kindred spirit and it’s okay.

I like to sleep with the window open. Even if it’s a bit chilly. It’s hard to sleep if there’s no air moving in the room, no breath from the dark outside. Only then do I feel safe. If the night is breathing on me.
